Connect Smart Storage to Claude

Smart Storage gives Claude an authenticated way to query structured records and their source evidence across recurring work. It complements Claude Projects and other retrieval tools by keeping reviewed records, mappings, explicit request filters, and reusable analytics in the AVIntelligence account.
Smart Storage for Claude is in a private early rollout. Create a Smart Storage account at avintph.com, then connect from Claude. A directory listing, if published, does not bypass account sign-in, eligibility, or plan checks.
Before you connect
- An existing AVIntelligence Smart Storage account with a verified email address.
- A Claude account that supports remote connectors.
- Access to the private rollout and a matching verified email in the Smart Storage sign-in flow.
- Files uploaded through the Smart Storage web app. The connector does not ingest chat attachments.

Connect in Claude
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Use the server URL
https://www.avintph.com/api/mcp. - Continue through Clerk-powered OAuth and sign in with the verified email on your existing Smart Storage account.
- After Claude confirms the connection, start a new chat and ask it to inspect your available Smart Storage records.
Claude receives an authorization token, not your Smart Storage password.
What the connector can do
The directory-safe server exposes 33 tools. Claude can inspect account-owned files, folders, records, source references, review status, mappings, relationships, saved datasets, reports, and dashboard visuals. It can also create or update reusable definitions and visuals, and generate supported CSV exports. Write operations change saved items in your account and should be reviewed in Claude before approval.
Upload files in the Smart Storage web app. Extracted values can be incomplete or inaccurate; review and correct them there before relying on them in important work. Claude’s folder or file filters scope an individual request. They do not restrict the connection’s account-level authorization.
Evidence and limitations
Records keep references to their source files and locations where available. Smart Storage reports review state, source freshness, incomplete sources, conflicts, and other evidence warnings when relevant. These controls help Claude work from maintained sources; they do not guarantee that an AI response or extracted value is error-free or eliminate context drift.
Reports and exports are generated from stored records and are not live synchronization with accounting products. Smart Storage does not provide accounting, legal, tax, or financial advice. Verify outputs before acting on them.
The connector does not read Claude conversation history, memory, or chat attachments. Smart Storage’s privacy policy explains how uploaded content and generated records are processed and retained.
Troubleshooting and support
- Sign-in fails: check that the verified Clerk email matches an existing Smart Storage account.
- Files are missing: confirm they are in the signed-in account and upload them through the web app.
- A result is incomplete: review source freshness, processing status, review flags, and scope in Smart Storage.
- Access is unavailable: contact support to confirm invitation and plan eligibility.
